A Shout-Out
So I know I haven't been very good about checkin/commenting on other people's blogs so I just wanted to post a note that said sorry and I'm thinking about all of you I just don't have a whole lot of time these days like I did when I was pregnant and wanted to avoid reality: that I was getting rather large and uncomfortable. Now Marcus takes up most of my spare time...Sometimes I feel like journaling my daily events just to see how many times I put him down thinking I can "get something done now" and he gets fussy or messes his shorts or unraveled himself from his blanket etc. He is pretty cute though and I don't mind it so much. :) But I do appreciate all of your comments on our blog admiring our babers :) Hopefully soon this boy will get into a schedule and I will have more time to do all the things that I want to do and Hopefully you all can be patient until then....

Marcus's First time in "The Chair"
While in Utah, we decided in typical last minute fashion that we needed to take "chair pictures." We TRY to take each of the grand kids' pictures in "puppa's chair" at least once a year. These are cool to see how much they change from year to year. So... these are pictures from our Utah weekend. I thought the pic with all three boys was pretty cute. The other two are cute "Marcus is the most popular person to hold" pictures.

My Best friend's wedding
Six little pumkins sitting in a row
Carving Jack-o-lanterns with our Friends the Sessions. Yes, Micah and I were left to finish our boys' pumkins. Marcus decided to leave his pumkin uncarved. He was hungry instead.

Sea Water
A conversation that occurred yesterday while Jacksen was in the bathtub:
Jax: "Mom, I know how to say Sea Water in Spanish"
Rachel: "Really? How do you say it?"
"J: "(a short pause while he thinks about it) um, it's 'see-wah'
R: "Oh, you are very smart"
J: "yep." (he says very matter-of factly)
Later that day....
J: "Mom, Do you know what 'sonee-dee-dee' means?"
R: "No, what?"
J: (another pause while he thinks) "um.... it's Spanish. It means.....um, 'your in big Doo-Doo'"
I continue to be amazed @ my extraordinarily intelligent son. I have no idea how he learned Spanish, but apparently he knows it. And I didn't even have to teach it to him! :)

Take a Hike
Morgan and Jacksen went Hiking with Dad on Saturday. It was a tough hike 4 miles up (it was pretty steep) and 4 down... Micah said they were real troopers.
